Dulcinea
is an early 1970's MacGregor Venture 22 foot
sailing vessel, which Lori and Robin bought in
August of 2012. Like
the bigger vessels, Dulcinea is quite
a well rounded little craft, with an
18" to 4.5' swing keel, porta-potty,
and sleeping quarters. She
is
a sloop design,
has a 7.5 hp Mercury electric start outboard
connected to a DC power patch panel with a
dual battery/isolator system, and has
a very nice "Pop-Top" feature
which makes her even more roomy.
Some
small improvements
on "Dulci" to make her even more enjoyable and
easy to use, have included improvements on the
patch panel and adding an isolated second
battery, along with a solar trickle charger. A
dedicated battery for motor start and another
for cabin power are quite nice to have. We
have 2 windbreakers with her name on them, one
smaller and one larger.

Also, a brand
new bottom paint job has been done, and we
have the paint to also do the top side above
water line, as well as decking paint with
non skid included. Trailer has also had a
thorough upgrade, with new paint, lights,
boards and pads.
